Spring Time!

I loved the weather this weekend. I love the rain and I love the sun. Here are some pictures of us trying to get the yard in order (and Anna climbing the tree). We bought the house last September so we didn't have much time to clean it up, but we are getting there. Hopefully next year we will have a full yard of grass. Anna and I planted roses, raspberries, blueberries, wildflowers and she helped Danny rake the sticks and leaves out. We even have a bunch of new grass (last year our yard was dirt and weeds taller than me, which isn't saying much but still...). I love spring.

Easter Bunny 411...

Anna and I are sitting at the table Saturday night sharing a cup of pudding when she stops and asks me:

"Momma?"

Yes?


"Does the Easter Bunny drive a car?"


I guess so


"Is the Easter Bunny a Mommy?"


I'm not sure, what do you think sweetie?


"I pink so. Is the Easter Bunny's name Jessie?"


From there I wasn't really sure what to say, so we laughed and ate the rest of our pudding. The next morning she was thrilled to see the Easter Bunny, we'll call her Jessie, had brought a basket overflowing with presents and hid eggs in the back yard. What an awesome kid.

Recent Activities...

A new puppy, new bike and indoor skydiving. Ok, so Anna didn't actually skydive but she got to dress up. Then she cried for an hour because I wouldn't let her get in the wind tunnel with Danny. Maybe next time...
