9 months old!

I can't believe how fast Zach is growing!  He is constantly in motion, keeping all of us busy chasing after him. He gets into everything and I mean everything. He loves to eat. He still has no teeth, but smiles all the time.

My 5 Year Old...

Annabelle Rose

She loves princesses, unicorns, ponies, rainbows but doesn't mind getting a little dirty now and then while playing cars with her brother.  She is the pickiest eater I have ever met.  She has a kind heart, a loving smile and the sweetest hugs.

She started kindergarten and is starting to read, write and spell. Her logic is amazing.  She has the best imagination of anyone I have ever met. She is smart and stubborn and makes me crazy most days, but I wouldn’t change a thing.

She is 5 years young and growing so fast.

"Crawling"

It is more of a scooting motion or a slither or a shimmy; whatever you call it Zach is on the move!  His favorite destinations?  Anything with a cord or buttons.  Time to baby proof and this time we are going to have to do it really well because he is not like his sister and gets into EVERYTHING.

He is actually much faster than this video leads you to believe...

8 months already!

• Loves to eat and eat and eat...
• Starting to crawl 
• Very social and happy most of the time
• LOVES his sister
• Does not like bananas
• Does not sleep through the night anymore :(
• Gets into everything he can get his hands on (or mouth)
• Did I mention he loves to eat?  
• Plays a lot more with his toys and sister
• No teeth yet

First Day of School

Anna did great this morning dropping her off at her first day of school!  I was a little teary, but I am so excited to hear about her day this afternoon when I pick her up.

Sibling Love

These two truly love each other and I am so proud of them.  Anna wants to help with everything with Zach. Lately we've had some great moments between the two of them as Zach is interacting with her more and more.

She loves to take him for walks whether on his new bike or in the stroller. Always wants to push.

She shares her toys (big deal for her) and they formed the "After Bath Rock Band"


And today, the best moment we've had yet.  Zach need a bath bad, and big sister was there to help. Not only did she wash him, she wanted to clean off the mess the warranted the bath (not a pretty picture). Then she put lotion on him, picked a clean outfit, made a bottle (with a little help) and tucked him in for an afternoon nap.  It was completely unprompted and you could just see how much she was enjoying helping her brother.  It brought tears to my eyes to see the love that these two have for each other at such a young age. I can't wait to watch them grow.
