Memorial Day Weekend Fun

What a fun weekend. We went to Territory Days, hung out with some great friends, had some BBQ, went to the flea market and we're not quite sure what we'll get into today. Anna has been having a blast. She got her face painted and played T-Ball for the first time, and she's actually really good!

I'mma gonna be a big sister!!

If you haven't talked to Anna in a while then you may have missed her recent announcement that she is going to be a big sister!! Danny and I are expecting the newest addition to the family towards the end of the year :). Anna is thrilled. We've had several ultrasounds and everything seems to be going well despite a rough start.

The Yard

Danny I have spent a lot of time during the evenings and when it is nice on the weekend getting the yard "in shape". Last fall when we moved in there was little growing that we actually wanted. I went to Lowe's one day a few weeks back and bought flower seeds and bulbs, raspberry and blueberry bushes, rose bushes and everything I needed to start getting the yard to how I want it. We spent an entire weekend planting, raking, seeding, watering, grooming (see previous post). Two days later... The dogs had dug up EVERYTHING. They chewed the rose bushes and completely removed the berry bushes. Anyone need a dog? Perhaps two?

Hopefully I will get some time coming up to fix everything. I am determined to have a beautiful yard. :)
