Cheap Thrills

Since Anna was born she has always wanted to clean, and be clean. Some kids don't like sand in their toes or food on their face. Anna is WAY beyond this, always has been. Some of you may have noticed her "tendencies".

As I was walking around Target the other day I noticed in the dollar section there were a bunch of small, cheap plastic cleaning tools. For the bargain price of $5 I was able to not only make my child's year and entertain her for hours on end, I now have a very clean living room. She even has a very interesting way she likes to clean (see below).

Look closely, she is the only 2 year old I have ever seen that insists on using a coaster (and I did not teach her this!). In fact, until Anna was born I don't think I had ever actually used one myself. She has been a very positive influence on me. :-)

Durango

Hi Everyone!

Anna, Danny and I had a nice weekend in Durango visiting Jojo and P Pa (grandma and grandpa Wade). It was a short trip, but much needed. Anna had a blast playing. We stopped on Wolf Creek Pass to play in the snow a little, went to see the honey bees at Honeyville, had a nice dinner with friends and played lots of Scrabble (my favorite game).

Nice Weekend

We had a nice relaxing weekend mostly at home. Saturday was gymnastics and time with friends. Sunday consisted of a nice breakfast, a long nap, and a walk through Garden of the Gods.
